About
As most of us do, I wear many hats in life: mom to a toddler and two furry children, wife, communicator during the day, super – woman, mom, friend, family member, stranger, (insert your favorite description here) – by night.
I’m a social media nerd who enjoys running to stay a (semi) sane human being.
For those who know me well know I drink an unhealthy amount of coffee….at all hours of the day.
This blog is a series of stories through the eyes of that dark, brewed liquid in my cup.
After overhearing inspirational, funny and sometimes serious conversations at coffee shops I frequented, I decided to write them down. I began realizing coffee shop environment serves as catalysts (or maybe it’s the caffeine) for sharing life lessons. I’m finding that while we may all be at different points in our lives, we are all looking for the same things. And, these stories are proof.

You are an incredible writer who inherited her father’s skills. I am very proud to have you as my daughter and to be your mother!

Still in search of the perfect brew, I salute your dedication. I make mine the old fashioned way by graunching up beans and using a plunger. Possibly over-strong (the spoon leans gradually to the side and cats can walk across the surface) but chewy is how real coffee should be* … good luck!
*And sleep is vastly overrated.
